UnrealTournament is rated M for Mature and is for ages 17+. UnrealTournament was rated by ESRB whom hold the definition of Mature. This game and server support maps, skins and voice packs that might not be suitable for players under the age of 17. Some maps may contain mild nudity and some voice packs will contain comedic swearing. It is important to understand that UnrealTournament came with some nude images and is not against the law to display these maps nor other maps of that fashion.

UnrealTournament is built on an engine which has many security exploits which allow malicious people to try and hurt servers and player's personal computers. Though this is a rare occurrence, it is never a bad idea to take measures to help protect your computer via a firewall and anti-virus.

It is important not to assume that an admin of a server created everything you see. It is also important not to assume it is the admin's direct responsibility to inform each and every new player who made what unless they ask. Note that some creators don't place a readme author info with their download, again this is not the admin's responsibility to go chasing these people.
