RB was a huge part of my life and is always with me. I was sad to let it go, but was hoping Milk would have carried on the torch and or let RB die gracefully. I did not trust a certain someone that Milk had entrusted to run anything on RB, but I gave up any rights to further my opinions when I left.

Once a year or so I would check out the site, but was too painful to stay or do much else. I had noticed the domain finally expired and assumed it was finally gone until yesterday when my son discovered the new site Trev has put together.

I recognize everyone's name in here and miss everyone. I still carry around all RB files, emails, work and databases for some reason. My memories are foggy, but I might be able to answer some questions if the community needs help. You should be in good hands though, Methos is a talented programmer.

Nice to see that familiar signature :)

Do you, by chance, still have a way to contact Milk? I used to have him in my phone, but that was before smartphones became what they are now.

I'm currently attempting to find time to help on some revival efforts, but speaking with him would certainly help things out.

I honestly thought I would never hear from you again, Mike. I'm glad you decided to stop by.

Hey Trev, I am touched that you are keeping the spirit of RB alive. My son plays Fortnite and I have been made aware of the new UT. I tried to explain how amazing UT was on RB, but only those that lived it understand. You still owning people with that shock rifle? I have been playing on Playstation almost daily since Feb 2010. Mostly Blackops 1,2 and 3 and GTAV since 2013. I think I noticed a Trev*** name variant a long time ago, but they didn't stick around long enough for me to ask. Do you play on PSN?

x-quake, I just checked and don't have an easy way to contact milk atm. Also it would seem for the moment that I no longer have the forum files or database along with the gallery. I may have moved or deleted it due to size and limited space on my drives years ago. I still have my outlook emails saved from 2002-2010 which would contain his contact info somewhere but loading that into Windows 10 might be really annoying. Hmm I might be able to find something in my paypal records.

For about 4 years I was spanking the sh!t out of people under my a psn name that was deleted by Sony cuz of some crybaby complainer. I guess I wasn't supposed to have a url as a psn name however at the time I was able to create one. It was www_RoseBum_com. I lost 2,500 trophies and COD and GTA stats. I was very annoyed and stopped playing for a few months then created a new account called Michhhhael1980 (cuz Michhhhael was taken? wtf??) Started a few years ago chasing down difficult trophies that I had already earned on my old account and when I got to about 1500, the 3 year mark hit since losing my RB PSN name and all my old trophies returned to me. I was shocked and a tad bit annoyed that I busted my ass earning so many of the same ones again omg I am so off topic. I get carried away with my gaming. Online people almost always think I am cheating because they lack the understanding of tactics.

Anyways guys, I hope all works out here and if you have PSN, hit me up. I have no friends on there because everyone I meet is an idiot. Hey anyone remember way way back when RB was still newish, a player named, "youaresoidiot"?

I've never owned a PlayStation so that wouldn't have been me. The last shooter I've been playing was Quake Champions after they announced it was free. I like it more than the new UT but it does have its own problems with the scarcity of content. Once they release CTF I might end up playing that regularly.

When I first learned of your return, Mike, my jaw nearly hit the floor. It has been so very long, and I had no idea what had happened to you. To say it's good to hear from you is an understatement.

I feel I must apologize for the inexcusable lateness of this reply. When I learned of your return, I felt that an off-the-cuff reply would not do the occasion justice, so I wanted to compose something clever, but the longer it took to come up with an idea, the more impressive the idea would have to be to excuse the delay. This ever rising bar in turn reduced my options, making it take even longer to reply. I thereby found myself in a mental trap of my own making. Before long, I realized that nothing I could possibly write would ever be enough to meet my self-imposed requirements, and just like that, the trap was complete.

Nobody else seemed to be saying much of anything on the forum, which helped me to ignore the situation. Some personal technical difficulties and family medical issues provided further distraction from the situation.

And now I see it is a new year, and Kernelpanic has returned and revived the conversation once again, leading me to decide that enough is enough. I will reply without a clever approach in mind and just lay my cards on the table, as it were.

I've missed you. It's good to see you again. Happy New Year and a belated Merry Christmans to you and to everyone else here.

One last note: Everything that Trev has accomplished here has been, to the best of my knowledge, entirely his own doing. I don't recall fielding a single question from him. It is rather impressive, and I deserve precisely none of the credit. Your compliment was well received, nonetheless.
